Nihon Saisei Sakaba
Nihon Saisei Sakaba (新宿三丁目 日本再生酒場) is a yakitori specialising in the lesser known cuts aka the fifth quarter aka nose-to-tail eating. A casual place to relax, have a few drinks, and sample... brains and rectum. It's not as scary as it sounds and there are some less adventurous cuts like belly and wing for those who want to ease into the rectum-eating. It's standing room only - get a spot at the bar and the staff will take good care of you. Just let them know how adventurous you're willing to be and they'll serve you some grilled skewers perfect for matching a cold beer or sake. The owner also has a group of izakaya across the road if you feel like sitting down or eating some chicken breast. Look for the Burrari sign that looks like a pig Ferrari. Tip: the chopsticks are in a draw under the bar.
You can go boring and get chicken yakitori or be adventurous , go on, order the brains!
