Famous Sungei Road Trishaw Laksa

Literally a famous laksa food stall in hawker centre

AuthenticFood StallsSeafoodSingaporean

Hong Lim is a proper hawker centre, open air, messy, and as authentic as it gets. A hearty bowl of curry-coconut broth with seafood and thick rice noodles, laksa one of the most well known local dishes outside of Singapore. There aren't a shortage places specialising in laksa, but what makes these guys stand out is the addition of a slipper lobster. The broth here is known to be lighter (less rich) than others around town, without compromising on the depth of flavour. Stir in a spoonful of chilli sambal and laksa leaves to give it an extra kick. For the price of around $SGD7, a tasty bargain!
