Best Street Food in Singapore

No trip to Singapore is complete without trying some street food. From cab drivers to politicians, Singaporeans have a love for street food. And everyone has an opinion on where to get the best food. That said, Singaporean street food isn't served on the street anymore. In an effort to increase hygiene, the government created hawker centres in the 1990's in which vendors hire a stall. The government monitors and rates hygiene levels and is constantly upgrading and renovating centres. They are still open air and maintain some organic authentic charm. There are over 100 of them in Singapore, we've given you 3 that are centrally located and some highlights in each.
