Best Introduction to New Nordic

€ € €FavouriteModernNordic

This little pony was sired by Michelin starred Kadeau on the island of Bornholm ( a short flight or ferry from Copenhagen) and out of Michelin starred Kadeau in Copenhagen. For non-horse people: Pony has great parents. What the family shares is a focus on local, seasonal, sustainable ‘New Nordic’ cuisine. Where they differ is that Pony is a little more casual than its parents. It’s a relatively small restaurant with an equally small kitchen in its centre. But what comes out of that small kitchen, wow! Pony's ever changing seasonal menu is one that will impress any Copenhagen visitor to to sample the 'New Nordic' cuisine.

Eat everything! The smoked duck breast, grilled hearts, berries, plum vinegar, red sorrel was amazing. Tart berries with rich duck meat is a great combination. And the steamed fish was the beat steamed fish we've ever had anywhere.
