Copenhagen Central Copenhagen Neighbourhood Guide

That postcard you see of Copenhagen of the coloured houses and ships is Central Copenhagen. It's beautiful. And full of tourists. But it really is the best area to stay in Copenhagen. Yes, you'll be surrounded by old people on package holidays wandering the streets and gazing upwards with selfie sticks, but for good reason. Staying in Central means that you can exit your hotel and simply stroll through Copenhagen's picturesque streets, through the pedestrian only shopping streets, browsing (or buying) through the countless shops. There are a tonne of places to eat, drink and people watch. Avoid the main tourist spots and seek out some of the better local places.
