Nobelhart & Schmutzig

Without a doubt one of our favourite restaurants in the world! At Nobelhart & Schmutzig (Noble Hard & Dirty) the focus is on serving only local food and ingredients and nothing should be 'boring' or predictable. That means really, really well thought out food, that looks incredible, tastes amazing and is prepared with ingredients sourced directly from producers. And the wine... Billy Wagner is a larger than life character that really knows his stuff; you'll learn more about European wine in one dinner with Billy than you will a week of dining at most other Michelin starred restaurants. Opt for him to choose glasses of wine for you and you'll be in for many a surprise. The restaurant is one big kitchen with a bar surrounding it. Every second chair is covered with fluffy wool. If we lived in Berlin we would eat here far too often than would be healthy for our wallet. From the honest but serious food, to the adventurous wine list, the personalities, friendly staff all wrapped up in a cosy restaurant. Puuurfect!

Bookings are a must have. But if you get one, expect an evening out, this isn't a quick meal.
