Amsterdam De Pijp & Around Neighbourhood Guide

This is probably our favourite area to stay in Amsterdam. It's quite a suburban neighbourhood, but at the same time it's relatively youthful and cosmopolitan residents make it an interesting place to stay for a couple of days. You're very close to some of the more interesting sites and at the same time close to some of the more non-touristy places around Albert Cuypstraat. The canal boat/bus runs from the nearby Rijksmuseum which is a great way to kick back and motor around Amsterdam's famous canals.
