Amsterdam Jordaan & The Nice Streets Neighbourhood Guide

A traditional working class area gone upmarket with plenty of art galleries, hip boutiques and happening restaurants. Jordaan is one of the trendy places to live in Amsterdam. It's very dense housing that looks exactly like the postcards. There aren't many hotels here, it's more for locals than tourists. That said during the day things get pretty busy, especially in the Nine Streets shopping area. It's a great area to stay if you want to wander the canals of Amsterdam.
